Choir! Choir! Choir! is an open choir out of Toronto that meets twice a week to sing, play shows and have a ton of fun. The project recently unveiled a tribute to late Steely Dan co-founder Walter Becker featuring one of the project’s masterminds, Daveed Goldman leading dozens of vocalists on a gorgeous rendition of “Dirty Work.”
Walter Becker died on September 3 from an undisclosed illness. Choir! Choir! Choir! assembled dozens of talented vocalists to honor the guitarist a few days later at Clinton’s in Toronto. In the video below, Goldman starts out with a short speech about Becker and then leads the gathered singers on a cover of Steely Dan’s Can’t Buy A Thrill track “Dirty Work.”
