Rock & Roll Hall Of Famers Cheap Trick made their The Late Show With Stephen Colbert debut on Thursday. The band offered a remote performance of “Boys & Girls & Rock N Roll” on last night’s program.
While last night was Cheap Trick’s first appearance on The Late Show, they previously masterminded the theme song for Stephen’s The Colbert Report show. “Boys & Girls & Rock N Roll” is featured on In Another World, a studio album Cheap Trick released today.

In Another World is Cheap Trick’s first new album since We’re All Alright! and Christmas Christmas arrived in 2017. Cheap Trick tapped longtime associate Julian Raymond to produce the 13-track LP. “This band is held together by music,” frontman Robin Zander said in a statement when In Another World was announced. “It’s the super glue that keeps us writing and putting records out. The reason we started the band in the first place was to tour and write songs and put records out. If all that went away, there would be no point then, would there?”
