Carlos Santana Shreds National Anthem With Son At World Series

Last night Carlos Santana and his son Salvador Santana performed the National Anthem before the San Francisco Giants took on the Kansas City Royals in Game Four of the World Series. The Bay Area guitar hero’s appearance continues a string of Anthem performers at AT&T Park during the playoffs that also included Bob Weir & Phil Lesh (and Tim Flannery) and Tim & Nicki Bluhm.

Salvador accompanies his father on piano for the instrumental “Star-Spangled Banner,” which takes off when Carlos extends the final note with all sorts of fretboard fireworks. Watch how it went down:
