Burlington Discover Jazz Festival Finalizes 2015 Lineup

Entering it’s 32nd year, the lineup for the 2015 Burlington Discover Jazz Festival has been finalized with Rubblebucket and Robert Randolph and The Family Band named as headliners for the Waterfront Park Tent shows. The 10-day event takes place July 5 -14 at various locations across Burlington, Vermont including The Flynn Center for the Performing Arts and Nectar’s Club Metronome. 
Previously named headliner Mavis Staples will appear Friday, June 12 at the Flynn. Other acts slated to appear as part of the FlynnSpace Series include Colin Stetson & Sarah Neufeld Duo, Joe Locke’s Love is a Pendulum, Steve Lehman Octet and Mimi Jones Band. Burlington will also see appearances by the Wayne Shorter Quartet, Spanish Harlem Orchestra, Georgia Anne Muldrow, Chris Botti, Christian McBride Trio, Aaron Goldberg Trio, Melissa Aldana & Crash Trio and Wadada Leo Smith’s Golden Octet. Additionally the Sneakers Jazz Band featuring Dave Grippo, Russell Remington, Paul Asbell, Jeff Salisbury, Bruce Sklar, Joey Sommerville and Clyde Stats will reunite for a Nectar’s 40th Anniversary Celebration at Club Metronome for two shows on Sunday June 14,
