Seattle’s Bumbershoot Festival Returns With 2023 Lineup Featuring Sleater-Kinney, The Revivalists & More

Sleater-Kinney, The Revivalists and more are set for the Bumbershoot 2023 lineup. The Seattle’s Arts and Music Festival is celebrating its 50th anniversary on September 2 and 3 at the Seattle Center.
Also atop the Bumbershoot 2023 bill are Zhu, Jawbreaker, AFI, Brittany Howard, Fatboy Slim, Sunny Day Real Estate, Phantogram, Band of Horses and Descendents. Additional performers include Matt and Kim, Bomba Estéreo, Durand Jones, Uncle Waffles, A-Trak, Ride, Valerie June, Benny The Butcher, Jacob Banks, Major League, DJz, DOMi & JD BECK, The Dip, Rebirth Brass Band, Temples and more.
Festival producers New Rising Sun and Bumbershoot’s nonprofit arm Third Stone have also launched the Bumbershoot Workforce Development Program “designed to create a pipeline to support the next generation of music industry professionals and lay the groundwork for a more equitable and inclusive music scene,’ as per a press release. A portion of ticket sales will head to the Bumbershoot Workforce Development Program.
