Buddy Guy brought his iconic polka dot Fender Stratocaster to NPR Music to perform a Tiny Desk Concert. The legendary Chicago blues guitarist began his set with two of his signature songs and ended with a pair led by Miles Caton.

Guy was accompanied at the intimate concert setting by pianist Dan Souvigney, guitarist Ric Hall, bassist Orlando Wright and drummer Pooky Styx. The 89-year-old guitarist began the session with “Damn Right, I’ve Got the Blues” and followed with the blues classic, “Hoochie Coochie Man.”

Guy then brought out Caton for the rest of the set. Both men appear in the Oscar-nominated feature film, Sinners, portraying blues singer Sammie “Preacher Boy” Moore. Two songs from Sinners, “Travelin’” and “I Lied to You,” rounded out Guy and Caton’s Tiny Desk appearance.
