Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band were the musical guest on Saturday Night Live last night. The legendary rocker and his longtime band delivered a live debut of “Ghosts” and the E Street Band debut of “I’ll See You In My Dreams.”

The SNL play marked Bruce Springsteen & the E Street’s Band’s first public appearance since 2016 and their fourth overall appearance on the long-running late night program. The band featured guitarists Bruce Springsteen, Patti Scialfa, Nils Lofgren and Steven Van Zandt as well as drummer Max Weinberg, keyboardists Roy Bittan and Charles Giordano, saxophonist Jake Clemmons and bassist Jack Daley. Daley filled in for E Street Band founding bassist Garry Tallent, who had never missed an E Street Band performance up till that point, as per Brucebase, but had to sit out SNL due to the show’s COVID-19 protocols along with touring member Soozie Tyrell.
