Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band will serve as the musical guest for Saturday Night Live on December 12. The appearance marks the fourth time The Boss has appeared on the legendary late night program.
Bruce made his SNL debut in 1992 with his band at the time. Then, Springsteen was joined by the E Street Band when he returned 10 years later in 2002. The Boss came back to Saturday Night Live just before the holiday break in 2015 after a 13-year absence from the show, which included a sit-in from Paul McCartney.

The Boss assembled the E Street Band in November of 2019 to record his recently released Letter To You album. Springsteen hasn’t performed publicly with his longtime group since the end of The River Tour in 2016.
