Bruce Springsteen talked his 2023 tour dates with the E Street Band on SiriusXM’s E Street Radio. Springsteen and host Jim Rotolo discussed Bruce’s excitement to get back on the road, what fans can expect to hear and more.

Bruce Springsteen And The E Street Band’s newly announced tour dates in the U.S. and Europe mark the first time the legendary rockers have performed together — save for a Saturday Night Live appearance and recording of the 2020 album Letter To You — in five years, which Bruce called “mind-boggling.” “We stayed busy over that time,” Springsteen continued. “But “I’ve got the jones to play live,” he said.

Springsteen also noted that the fans can expect to hear “plenty” of new material from Letter To You when “we get out on the road” and that he’s excited to “travel and see our fans in all our different cities and feel that life again.” The conversation also touched on rehearsals, setlist construction for the tour and more.
