The Brothers Comatose recently shared video featuring a cover of the Temple of the Dog classic “Hunger Strike.” Supergroup Temple Of The Dog released their only album, a self-titled debut, 30 years ago today.
Temple Of The Dog was put together by Chris Cornell as a tribute to Mother Love Bone lead singer Andrew Wood, who passed away due to a heroin overdose on March 19, 1990. Cornell was joined in the band by guitarists Stone Gossard and Mike McCready, bassist Jeff Ament and drummer Matt Cameron. Temple Of The Dog track “Hunger Strike” featured vocal contributions from Eddie Vedder.
