The Brothers Comatose, The Lil’ Smokies & Mipso Honor Tom Petty In San Francisco

Americana acts The Brothers Comatose, The Lil Smokies and Mipso are out on the road together as part of the Campfire Caravan Tour. A recent stop on the West Coast leg of the tour saw all three bands come together to pay tribute to late rocker Tom Petty.

The Campfire Caravan Tour rolled into Great American Music Hall in San Francisco last Saturday night. The second of two nights at the venue ended with an encore that was a collaborative effort between members of all three bands honoring Petty. The result was a cover of “American Girl” from the self-titled 1976 Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers debut album.
