Watch Brittany Howard’s Riveting ‘To Be Still’ Performance On ‘The Daily Show’

Brittany Howard appeared on Thursday’s episode of The Daily Show. The singer-songwriter performed her song “To Be Still” and was interviewed by host Desi Lydic.

Howard discussed her recently released album, What Now, which she created during the COVID-19 pandemic. The record featuring “To Be Still” is currently nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Alternative Music Album. The interview with Howard ended with her recounting a memorable experience performing with Prince at his Paisley Park facility in Minnesota.

Howard then performed “To Be Still.” The captivating arrangement saw Howard accompanied by guitarist Brad Allen Williams and vocalists Shanay Johnson and Karita Law.
