After a successful first outing, Bourbon & Beyond will return to Champions Park in Louisville, Kentucky September 22 and 23. The musical lineup for the 2018 installment of the world’s largest bourbon festival has been revealed.
John Mayer, Sting, Robert Plant & The Sensational Space Shifters, Lenny Kravitz and David Byrne are atop the bill for this September’s event. Gov’t Mule, Blackberry Smoke, JJ Grey & Mofro, Sheryl Crow, Del McCoury Band and The Magpie Salute are also among the acts scheduled to perform at Bourbon & Beyond ’18. Check out the full musical lineup below.
The centerpiece of the festival is the Big Bourbon Bar in which attendees can enjoy more than two dozen bourbons selected by the event’s official bourbon curator, Fred Minnick. Additionally, Louisville whiskey bar The Silver Dollar will host The Hunter’s Club, featuring vintage bourbons and contemporary collectibles. More than 20 world-famous chefs including Tom Colicchio, Stephanie Izard and Ray Garcia will take part in the festival.
“The underlying theme of Bourbon & Beyond is a celebration of craftsmanship. I’ve asked our team to approach every aspect of this festival with the same handcrafted spirit that is used by all of the participating artisans. Each and every one of these distilleries, master distillers, musicians, and chefs have spent years mastering their craft. I am honored and humbled that they have agreed to participate in our second year,” said Danny Wimmer, founder of Danny Wimmer Presents, the event’s organizer.
Tickets go on sale Friday, April 20 at 12 p.m. ET via the festival’s website.
