Boom Boom Room Presents Announces New Orleans Jazz Fest Shows

The team behind the famed Boom Boom Room night club in San Francisco’s Fillmore District has announced a full slate of after parties and late night shows at the Maison, One Eyed Jacks and Dragon’s Den in New Orleans set to coincide with this year’s New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. Jam scene stalwarts Marco Benevento, Stanton Moore, Robert Walter, Ivan Neville, Eric Lindell, Robert Mercurio, Karl Denson and Eric Krasno are among those who will perform during the series.

Maison will host the Stanton Moore Trio featuring the Galactic drummer joined by guitarist Scott Metzger and keyboardist Robert Walter on April 21. On April 24, One Eyed Jacks will host Worship My Organ with a lineup consisting of Marco Benevento, Skerik, Robert Walter, Simon Lott & DJ Logic. The action continues late night on the 24th at One Eyed Jacks with Karl Denson, Eric Krasno, Stanton Moore and Wil Blades. Then, on April 25, One Eyed Jacks hosts Frequinox (Robert Walter, Donald Harrison, Stanton Moore, Scott Metzger & Robert Mercurio) and Orgone.

One Eyed Jacks hosts another double-header on April 26. The early show features Dragon Smoke (Eric Lindell, Stanton Moore, Ivan Neville & Robert Mercurio) along with DJ Logic, while The Whip (Robert Walter, Corey Henry, Eric McFadden, Brian J, Mike Dillon, Nate Edgar & Eric Bolivar) holds it down late night. Dragon’s Den will host Sasha Masakowski, Brian J, Simon Lott and Kevvy Kev’s Cosmic Dance Jubilee late night on Thursday, April 28; while Worship My Organ II featuring John Medeski, Skerik, Robert Walter, Adam Deitch & DJ Logic is set for late night Friday, April 29 at the Maison.
