Bonnaroo 2018 SuperJam To Honor The Music Of Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers

Bonnaroo returns to The Farm in Manchester, Tennessee June 7 – 10. One of the traditions of the festival is the SuperJam and today organizers have revealed the theme and lineup for this year’s installment.
The 2018 Bonnaroo SuperJam will be a tribute to Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers. My Morning Jacket drummer Patrick Hallahan and VHS Or Beta singer/guitarist Craig Pfunder have been tapped as musical directors for “Into The Great Wide Open.” Wilco multi-instrumentalist Pat Sansone, MMJ bassist Tom Blankenship, Mark Heideger of Vandaveer, Daniel Creamer of The Texas Gentlemen and The Watson Twins round out the main band.

A bevy of special guests for the celebration of the music of Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers have been announced. Sheryl Crow, Sameer Gadhia (Young The Giant), Amelia Meath (Sylvan Esso), David Shaw (The Revivalists), Moon Taxi, Vanessa Carlton, Langhorne Slim, Japanese Breakfast, Frenship, Rayland Baxter, Bucky Baxter, Durand Jones & The Indications, Larkin Poe, The Wild Feathers and Jalen N’Gonda have all been confirmed to appear at some point during the set.
Eminem, The Killers, Muse, Future, Sturgill Simpson, Alt-J, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Anderson. Paak & The Free Nationals, Rebelution, The Revivalists and Pigeons Playing Ping Pong are among the many acts set to play Bonnaroo 2018. Tickets are on sale now via the festival’s website.
