Bobby Weir & Wolf Bros Announce Royal Albert Hall Concert With Royal Philharmonic Orchestra

Bobby Weir & Wolf Bros will cross the Atlantic this June for a special show with the 68-piece Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. The symphonic celebration of the Grateful Dead will take place at London’s Royal Albert Hall on June 21.

Weir’s performance will be his first London show since 2003. The Grateful Dead guitarist will be joined by Wolf Bros bandmates bassist Don Was, keyboardist Jeff Chimenti and drummer Jay Lane. Jeff Chimenti and Jay Lane are also Bobby’s Dead & Company bandmates.

The London concert is the latest on the books featuring arrangements of Grateful Dead classics and solo gems prepped by Stanford professor and composer Dr. Giancarlo Aquilanti. Weir & Wolf Bros debuted those arrangements with the National Symphony Orchestra at Washington D.C.'s Kennedy Center in October 2022.
