Bob Weir & Wolf Bros Perform ‘Eyes Of The World’ At TRI Studios: Pro-Shot Video
Bob Weir and Wolf Bros unveiled official video featuring “Eyes Of The World” from their Chinese New Year livestream concert at TRI Studios. “Eyes Of The World” came within the second set of the Chinese New Years livestream on February 12.
Bob Weir was backed by an expanded Wolf Bros lineup at TRI Studios that included bassist Don Was, drummer Jay Lane, pedal steel guitarist Greg Leisz, keyboardist Jeff Chimenti and the five-piece Wolf Pack horn and bass ensemble on “Eyes Of The World.” The Wolf Pack features woodwind specialist Sheldon Brown, violinist Mads Tolling, trombonist Adam Theis, trumpeter Brian Switzer and cellist Alex Kelly.
Jerry Garcia wrote “Eyes Of The World” with Robert Hunter. The Grateful Dead debuted the song live on February 9, 1973, at the Maples Pavilion at Stanford University. A studio version appeared on the Dead’s Wake Of The Flood album later that year.
