On August 15 Grateful Dead band mates Bob Weir and Bill Kreutzmann teamed up for the first time since Fare Thee Well when the guitarist sat-in with Billy & The Kids at the Peach Music Festival in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Weir augmented Kreutzmann’s band for the second of two sets on the third day of this year’s Peach Fest. An official recording of both sets is now available free-of-charge via LiveDownloads.com.

Billy & The Kids features Kreutzmann joined by guitarist Tom Hamilton, keyboardist Aron Magner and bassist Reed Mathis. The quartet first played a set without any guests before Weir sat-in for the entire second set and encore. Bobby’s time with Billy & The Kids included takes on “Feel Like A Stranger,” “New Minglewood Blues,” “Cassidy,” “Estimated Prophet,” “Stella Blue,” “Help On The Way,” “Slipknot!,” “Sugar Magnolia” and “Brokedown Palace.”
