Billy Strings will host and headline the fourth annual Renewal event this Friday, September 27 and Saturday, September 28 in the magnificent meadows of Buena Vista, Colorado. Livestreams of Strings’ main stage performances are available for free with a nugs.net subscription.
Renewal was first held in 2021 to celebrate the release of the guitarist’s album of the same name. This year’s outing takes on extra significance as the event begins on the day Billy Strings‘ highly-anticipated new studio album, Highway Prayers, arrives via Reprise Records

Billy Strings’ Renewal 2024 livestreams are scheduled to start at 8 p.m. MT (10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT) on Friday and Saturday nights. The sold-out event will also feature performances by Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway, The Jerry Douglas Band, Larry Keel Experience, Jon Stickley Trio, Mountain Grass Unit and Full Cord. Only Strings’ main stage sets will be broadcast.
Billy Strings follows Renewal with a two-leg fall tour. The run gets underway on October 4 with the Michigan native’s first of two home state concerts at Pine Knob Music Theatre in Clarkston.
