Star-Studded Lineup For Billy Joel Tribute Concert At Carnegie Hall Revealed
Jon McLaughlin, Wyclef Jean, Neal Francis, Rob Thomas, Tanya Tucker and The War And Treaty are among artists who will honor the Piano Man.

The 2026 “Music Of” tribute concert at Carnegie Hall organized by impressario Michael Dorf will honor Billy Joel. Out today is the full lineup for the all-star show on March 12 at the famed New York City venue.
Billy Joel’s music spanned many genres from doo-wop to rock to classical to pop to soul to jazz and all those in between. So it is only fitting the list of performers set to fete the Piano Man is quite diverse.
The eclectic lineup features Wyclef Jean, Jon McLaughlin, Tanya Tucker, Rob Thomas, Itzhak Perlman, Alexa Ray Joel, Pat Monahan (Train), Gavin DeGraw, Marc Roberge (O.A.R.), Matt Nathanson, Rufus Wainwright, Mary Chapin Carpenter, The War and Treaty, Bettye LaVette, Andrew McMahon (Jack’s Mannequin), Sammy Rae and Neal Francis.
Dorf tapped Billy Joel’s band to serve as the house band for the “Music Of Billy Joel.” The Piano Man’s longtime musical director and keyboardist David Rosenthal will be in the same role for the tribute. Other band members include Mark Rivera, Crystal Taliefero, Tommy Byrnes, Andy Cichon, Chuck Burgi and Carl Fischer, with guest pianist Don Orlando.
Launched in 2004, the “Music Of” series has honored Aretha Franklin, Paul McCartney, Prince, Paul Simon, Led Zeppelin, Van Morrison, Patti Smith, R.E.M., Carly Simon, David Byrne, The Rolling Stones and several others. Proceeds from each concert are donated to a group of non-profit organizations devoted to music education.
