Bill Callahan Performs NPR Music ‘Tiny Desk (Home) Concert’

Bill Callahan recorded a live session for NPR Music’s Tiny Desk (Home) Concert series. Callahan’s performance centered on material from his recently issued album, Gold Record.
Recorded remotely outside his home, Callahan played acoustic guitar alongside Matt Kinsey on electric guitar and Derek Phelps on trumpet. The set began with the Gold Record track “Pigeons.” Callahan then performed “Released” off his 2019 album, Shepherd In A Sheepskin Vest. The trio closed the performance by playing “Another Song” and “The Mackenzies” from Gold Record.
