Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals Announce World Tour & New Album

Earlier this year, returned to the stage for the first time since the group disbanded in 2008. The band embarked on a lengthy world tour and will be back at it again in 2016. Jambands.com reports that not only will Harper and his longtime band set off on another tour, they will also release their first new studio album since 2007.

BHIC will release Call It What It Is via Stax Records April 8. The album’s release will come while the band is on the road for a North American Tour that follows a run in Australia and New Zealand. Harper and his band will focus on the eastern half of the U.S. and Canada in April. Look for ticketing details to be revealed via the band’s website soon.
