Basically Frightened | Phish Tribute To Col. Bruce Hampton

The 2012 documentary Basically Frightened tells the story of Col. Bruce Hampton through interviews and live concert footage. Hampton is a legend in the jam scene and perhaps the most well-respected musician according to his peers, many of which sat for interviews that are featured in Basically Frightened including Warren Haynes, Mike Gordon, John Popper and Derek Trucks.
Basically Frightened is currently available as an “instant rental” on Vimeo and is also up for sale via the movie’s website. The film will be screened at Plaza Atlanta in Atlanta on August 15 and will be followed by a Q&A featuring Col. Bruce.
