AXS TV To Premiere Farm Aid 2015

The 30th Anniversary Farm Aid concert was held in Chicago at FirstMerit Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island on September 20, 2015 and showcased performances by Neil Young, Willie Nelson, John Mellencamp, Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds, Jack Johnson, Imagine Dragons, Old Crow Medicine Show and others. On Sunday, January 10 AXS TV will air select highlights from the concert beginning at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT

Among the artists chosen to appear will be Willie Nelson, Neil Young, John Mellencamp, Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds, Jack Johnson, Mavis Staples and Kacey Musgraves. AXS TV will also show archival performance footage from the past 30 years of Farm Aid concerts, including appearances by The Allman Brothers, Sheryl Crow, Emmylou Harris and Gary Clark Jr. Also making cameos on the program are musicians such as B.B. King, Buddy Guy, John Mayer, Tom Petty and Bonnie Raitt.
