The Avett Brothers Among Additions To Willie Nelson Make-Up Show In Charlotte

As reported, the Outlaw Music Festival will return to Charlotte’s PNC Music Pavilion on June 20 as a make-up for the May 26 event at the venue that saw country legend Willie Nelson leave the stage without playing a note. This time around Nelson will be joined North Carolina-based The Avett Brothers as well as other newly confirmed acts.

Nelson and The Avetts will also be joined by Jamey Johnson, along with Sarah Shook and the Disarmers. Tickets purchased for the May 26 concert will be honored on June 20. Additional tickets are on sale now via Live Nation.

According to reps for the 85-year-old musician, Nelson’s abrupt appearance in May was due to a stomach illness. The outlaw country legend appeared the following evening at the festival’s stop in Washington, D.C.
