‘America’s Got Talent’ Winner Nene Royal Joins Avenged Sevenfold In Singapore

Avenged Sevenfold brought out opening act and America’s Got Talent winner Nene Royal to perform “Bat Country” and “Unholy Confessions” during Tuesday’s concert at Singapore Indoor Stadium.

Nene Royal’s set saw the 16-year-old Thai guitarist/singer delivering a collection of covers including Rage Against The Machine's “Killing In The Name” and Soundgarden's “Black Hole Sun,” the latter a song she performed in her 2026 America’s Got Talent-winning run.

Next, A7X kicked off their set with the title track off the 2010 album Nightmare. The band also treated the Singapore audience to additional favorites “Afterlife,” “So Far Away,” “Shepherd of Fire” and “Gunslinger.”

Following “Hail to the King,” Nene Royal joined her favorite band, beginning with “Bat Country.” Royal fronted A7X on the track from the band’s 2005 LP City Of Evil and reeled off some serious shred on the rocker.

Nene also stuck around for “Unholy Confessions” before Avenged Sevenfold went it alone to seal the show with “A Little Piece of Heaven” and “Cosmic.”
