TOUR STARTS MAY 17 IN WASHINGTON, D.C.

The Arctic Monkeys have announced plans to play a string of coast-to-coast shows this spring. Kicking off in our nation’s capitol on May 17 and wrapping up at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles on June 3, the tour includes a return to New York City’s renowned Summer Stage in Central Park on May 24. Presale and ticket information is available at ArcticMonkeys.com.

Arctic Monkeys – Alex Turner, Jamie Cook, Nick O’Malley and Matt Helders – haven’t performed in North America since criss-crossing the country in the wake of the release of Humbug, their acclaimed third album. The band posted a video preview of brand new song “Brick By Brick” on their website late last week. Check it out below. Arctic Monkeys will release their fourth album, entitled Suck It and See on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 on Domino Records. Suck It and See features 12 new Arctic Monkeys’ songs and was produced by James Ford at the legendary Sound City Studios in Los Angeles. The album was engineered by James Brown and mixed by Craig Silvey.
