Last night Arcade Fire held the first of two consecutive shows at York Hall in London. The band entertained the English audience with their debut live performance of a song that appears on their forthcoming new album Everything Now.
Tuesday’s concert began with the new record’s title track and “Rebellion (Lies)” as well as the first “Neighborhood #2 (Laika)” of the current tour. Following a take on the Reflektor cut “Here Comes The Night Time,” Win Butler, Régine Chassagne and the rest of the group offered the debut rendition of “Chemistry,” which is one of 13 songs on the upcoming LP.
Arcade Fire’s set also saw additional Everything Now selections including “Signs Of Life” and “Creature Comfort.” Favorites such as “No Cars Go,” “Sprawl II (Mountains Beyond Mountains)” and “Wake Up” helped fill out the setlist in London.
