Animus Rexx To Team With Marc “Brownie” Brownstein In New York City

One day after completing a two-night stand in Brooklyn as part of the Trey Anastasio Band, saxophonist James Casey will bring his Animus Rexx project to New York City’s Highline Ballroom October 18.

The Disco Biscuits bassist Marc “Brownie” Brownstein will kick off the festivities with a rare DJ set. Then Casey takes the stage with fellow NYC jazz virtuosos Yuki Hirano, Randy Runyon, Reuben Cainer and Justin Tyson.
