Alanis Morissette Brings ‘Butterfly With A Machete’ Residency To Los Angeles

Alanis Morissette is bringing her acclaimed “Butterfly With A Machete” Las Vegas residency to Los Angeles. The shows take place at the YouTube Theater on November 5, 6, 10 and 11.

Produced, performed and co-written by Morissette, the singer-songwriter premiered the sold-out initial run of “Butterfly With A Machete” in Las Vegas last fall. Press materials further detailed the show:

“Butterfly with a Machete” is a confessional and multimedia, multi-disciplinary musical stage play set to [Morissette’s] music, blending her songs with storytelling, therapeutic insights, and a radical look at fame and trauma. The show takes the audience through Alanis’s own journey from Ottawa to the global stage with the myriad of highs and lows that followed upon becoming one of the most important artists of the last thirty years.

Presales for the Los Angeles run of “Butterfly With A Machete” begin on Monday (June 15). General onsales start Wednesday, June 17 at 10 a.m. local.
