Adrianne Lenker Shares Country-Tinged ‘Bright Future’ Outtake ‘Once A Bunch’
The bonus track was recorded during the sessions for the Big Thief singer-songwriter’s new solo album.

Big Thief’s Adrianne Lenker officially shared a recording of her song, “Once A Bunch.” The country-tinged track was recorded during sessions for her recently released solo album, Bright Future.
Lenker co-produced Bright Future with frequent collaborator and engineer Philip Weinrobe. Backing her on the 12-track release was a group consisting pianist/guitarist/violinist Mat Davidson, pianist Nick Hakim and classically trained violinist and percussionist Josefin Runsteen.

Runsteen and Davidson contributed to “Once A Bunch,” which was a bonus track on the Japanese CD edition of Bright Future. Currently on tour with Big Thief in Europe, in November Lenker will embark on a sold-out solo tour of North America in support of the follow-up to her 2020 album, songs.
