Watch Adrianne Lenker & Nick Hakim Perform ‘songs’ Gem Live From Electric Lady

Big Thief guitarist Adrianne Lenker continues to roll out video from her January 31 live “solo” session at Electric Lady Studios in New York City. The latest sees Lenker and collaborator Nick Hakim performing “not a lot, just forever” at the historic Greenwich Village recording facility.

Lenker previously shared Electric Lady videos for “Sadness As A Gift” and “Ruined,” both from her March 2024 solo album Bright Future. Adrianne’s April Electric Lady video release featured “anything” from her album songs.

Arriving on October 23, 2020, songs was accompanied by instrumentals as a double album, recorded in an analog-analog-analog (AAA) format during the COVID-19 pandemic. Lenker’s most recent Electric Lady offering, “not a lot, just forever” appears in the songs collection.

The performance of the lyrically and musically excellent “not a lot, just forever” sees Lenker on finger-picked guitar and vocals. Nick Hakim adds well-placed, ethereal piano touches to the tune.
