Pro-Shot Video | Gene Ween Does Billy Joel

Earlier this month Gene Ween played his first Gene Ween Does Billy Joel show at Bearsville Theater in Woodstock, New York. Gener and his band played a pair of Billy Joel classics before the show for Radio Woodstock and the station has shared professionally-shot video of the tunes on its YouTube channel.

In the first video we see Gener and his six-piece backing band tackle Billy Joel’s hit single “Big Shot” off 1978’s 52nd Street LP:

Next up for Gene Ween Does Billy Joel are two shows at Brooklyn Bowl in NYC (May 28 & 31) and a visit to Philadelphia’s Underground Arts (May 29). The Ween co-founder will also team with Umphrey’s McGee at Summer Camp for a Godboner Meets Gene Ween set in Chillicothe, Illinois.
