Jason Isbell Announces New Album

Jason Isbell has announced the release of his fifth studio album, Something More Than Free, July 17 through Southeastern Records. Featuring 11 new tracks, it marks the follow-up to his critically acclaimed 2013 album, Southeastern.
Recorded at the Sound Emporium in Nashville, Tennessee, Something More Than Free saw Isbell again team with producer Dave Cobb, whom he also worked with on Southeastern. Currently on tour with his band The 400 Unit, Isbell also added four shows at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville October 23 -26 to his current extensive touring schedule that includes dates opening for Dwight Yoakam and My Morning Jacket. A different supporting act will open each night at the Ryman, with his wife Amanda Shires performing on October 23, Parker Millsap on October 24, Hurray for the Riff Raff on October 25 and Chris Stapleton on October 26.
