This fall has been the season of Foo Fighters as the band rolls out their new studio album and HBO series, both titled Sonic Highways. Sure, the Foos aren’t for everyone, but coming from the jam scene we can appreciate a band that does its best to ensure a special experience for fans every time they take the stage. Plus, Dave Grohl and Co.’s use of tons of guest spots, setlist switches and fun covers are right up our alley.

Foos Mania rolls on with recent announcements of two very different shows. First, Foo Fighters have announced they will return to Chicago on August 29. After performing at the tiny Cubby Bear last Friday, this time around they’ll play the much more spacious Wrigley Field -home of the Chicago Cubs. Tickets go on sale Monday, October 27 at 10 a.m. CT.

Foo Fighters have also announced another performance to coincide with their new HBO series, Sonic Highways. This Friday’s episode focuses on Washington, DC; so the band will host a premiere and perform at the tiny Black Cat club on October 24. Tickets go on sale at the venue at 6 p.m. ET tonight.
