Greensky Bluegrass Announces New Album & Share First Single

Michigan jamgrass act Greensky Bluegrass will release their latest studio album, Shouted, Written Down & Quoted via their own Big Blue Zoo Records label on September 23. Today, the band announced the LP and shared its first single.

“The enthusiasm for the whole project began spilling into the unknown musical creature we were making,” Paul Hoffman told Billboard about the single, “Past My Prime” and added, “Frankly, I think we’re all pretty stoked with the little rock and roll monster that was born from a song out of the shadows.” The band had a bevy of new material to pull from for the new LP, but Hoffman also brought in “Past My Prime” which is an older tune written years prior.
