We’re just over a week away from the launch of Phish Summer Tour which begins on June 22 in St. Paul, Minnesota. Fellow Vermont institution Ben & Jerry’s recently announced they will be giving away ice cream and registering voters at select shows as part of a partnership with the band and HeadCount.
At a number of Phish shows attendees can enjoy free scoops of Ben & Jerry’s flavors Phish Food, Non-Dairy PB & Cookies and Empower Mint. Ben & Jerry’s is working with HeadCount to register votes through the company’s Democracy Is In Your Hands initiative which is an effort to get big money out of politics and bring more people in.
Ben & Jerry’s reps will be on hand to scoop out ice cream and register voters when Phish performs at SPAC July 1 – 3, Xfinity Center in Mansfield on July 8, Xfinity Theatre in Hartford on July 9, The Gorge on July 15 – 16, Bill Graham Civic Auditorium on July 18 – 20, The Forum on July 22 and at the Lockn’ Festival in August. HeadCount will have a table at every Phish show where you can still pledge, register to vote and pick up Ben & Jerry’s coupons.
