The songstress spent the last two years stretching her musical muscles through a series of inspired collaborations, including Wax Tailor‘s “Dusty Rainbow From the Dark”, Morgan Page‘s, “In The Air”, Thievery Corporation‘s “Culture Of Fear”, Nouvelle Vague‘s “Girls Of Nouvelle Vague”, Carmen Rizzo‘s “Looking Through Leaves”, and Serj Tankian‘s (System Of A Down) “Imperfect Harmonies”.
The colorful and adventurous end result is Richmond Parade. This is a playful, sexy, soulful album, its backbone anchored to Halligan’s simple desire to make music people can believe in. Working hand in hand with UK’s Brighton producer Alex Cowan, aka TM Juke, these tracks are the sum of her recent musical experiences, and the launching point for what comes next.
