Over the last four years, Revision International
has planted seeds of sustainable community development in Denver's Westwood neighborhood. On Saturday,
October 22, come out for a night of live music to help celebrate the feeling of community take root and grow.
From the Ground Up is a celebration of Revision International, a nonprofit organization based in Denver, CO, that
initiates community-led sustainability projects, primarily in low-income communities.
Revision is currently focused on empowering people, bringing economic opportunities through community food
projects and education on the value of healthy eating. To date, Revision has helped 87 families start their own
organic backyard garden, and started an urban farm that helps provide job and training opportunities, as well as
healthy food.
Revision is also helping low-income communities become more energy conscience with a new program that will help
over 500 families save money on their utility bills by reducing energy usage by 15%.
Tickets for the Silent Auction and Live Music are $35. This includes catered organic Food and Beverages from
