The Polyphonic Spree Release Interactive Video App

THE POLYPHONIC SPREE RE-EMERGES WITH NEW SONG AND IPAD APP

The Polyphonic Spree
Moonbot Studios, a multi-platform storytelling company, and The Polyphonic Spree, a self-described choral psych-phonic rock group, today announced their interactive music video app on iPad, featuring the Polyphonic Spree's first single "Bullseye," is now available on the App Store.

"I'd sketched the main character quite some time ago, named 'You-Me,'" said Spree leader Tim DeLaughter. "I contacted Brandon at Moonbot, who expressed interest in working with the Polyphonic Spree because he was a fan. It turned out to be the perfect marriage as we were looking to make an animated video. Moonbot took it a step further by suggesting that we make an interactive App. We loved their idea and hope our fans enjoy the immersive experience."

Moonbot Studios and The Polyphonic Spree together have created an interactive, character-based narrative music video inspired by Tim's sketch as well as the mood and lyrics of "Bullseye." Conceptually, the Moonbot creative team took this simple character through a day-in-the-life experience against layers of sonic landscape in a simplistic style. The music video app follows You-Me through a psychedelic-inspired environment that features a wealth of interactive elements to enhance the viewer's experience, including visual touch points that enhance the journey.

Over the four years since the release of their most recent album, The Fragile Army, The Polyphonic Spree has been staging a comeback and working on new music. "Bullseye" is the first single released from a collection of songs from the forthcoming label, Good Records Recordings, which will relaunch this summer as an outlet for single tracks from the Spree, DeLaughter's new band Preteen Zenith, and other artists signed to the label.

The Bullseye by Polyphonic Spree App is available for $1.99 from the App Store on iPad or at www.itunes.com/appstore.
