RONI SIZE MAKES FIRST NYC APPEARANCE IN MORE THAN SIX YEARS

Roni Size will be making a rare NYC appearance, his first in more than six years, when he DJs LOVE on Thursday May 6 with Dynamite MC on the mic. This NYC
gig will be followed by a pit stop to DJ Revolution in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on May 7 before heading to Puerto Rico to
spin at El Tunel de Guajataca on Saturday May 8.
Bristol native Roni Size is one of the U.K. music scene's most respected names, with production credits spanning
dozens of labels, projects, and releases. A drum 'n' bass pioneer, Roni started his nearly 20 year music career in the
early '90s and took the world by storm in 1997 when New Forms – his debut album with Roni Size &
Reprazent – won the prestigious Mercury Prize beating out Radiohead, Primal
Scream, Chemical Brothers and
The Prodigy. The breakthrough
release brought drum 'n' bass to a whole new audience and subsequently went platinum thanks to such modern day
classics as "Brown Paper Bag," "Watching Windows," and "Heroes."
Currently in the studio producing the next Roni Size album, whilst also working with the band on a new Reprazent album, he's taken a little time out of his
hectic studio schedule to do some dates. So don't miss Roni Size and Dynamite MC on Thursday, May 6 at LOVE.
