Brian Jordan Trio Tour

TINY UNIVERSE/BLUSIRKUT GUITARIST
JOINS FORCES WITH MOTET DRUMMER IN NEW BAND

Brian Jordan
One of the unsung six-string gems of our time, Brian Jordan takes to the road this coming weekend with a brand new trio comprised of Jordan on guitar and vocals, Andy Irvine (On The One) on bass, and The Motet's Dave Watts on drums. The backgrounds of these high level pros is sure to produce what they describe as "a highly energized blend of jazz, rock, funk and electronica." Jordan's stints in Karl Denson's Tiny Universe and Blusirkut have revealed a player with endlessly tasty chops and phenomenal instincts for collaborating in the moment. This new setting should spotlight his work in cool ways. The Brian Jordan Trio will be an ongoing project throughout 2008, and they will be adding to these initial dates soon.

Haven't heard much from this guy in recent years. I hope he can do a larger tour and maybe head east. Great guitarist!
