Dave Grohl Says New Foo Fighters Album Contains Epic Jams

“It’s an eight-song album, but it’s gonna be our longest album – because there are some epic jams. When you get Joe Walsh with you out in the desert, it’s not going to be a three-minute pop single. It gets a little weird,” Grohl told Fricke. So far we know that Walsh, Gary Clark Jr., Cheap Trick’s Rick Nielsen, Carrie Underwood, Chuck D and Butthole Surfers’ Gibby Haynes are among the guests on the new Foo Fighters album. Plus, there’s the band’s surprise show in New Orleans, so perhaps a NOLA legend or three have participated. We’ll likely find out soon.
