Surviving Nirvana Members Play Surprise Show In Brooklyn

Last night Nirvana was inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame during a lengthy ceremony at Brooklyn's Barclays Center. Dave Grohl, Pat Smear and Krist Novoselic hadn't played any of Kurt Cobain's songs since the group's front man passed away over 20 years ago. Following a four-song set at Barclays that saw Joan Jett lead the group through "Smells Like Teen Spirit," Kim Gordon front them on "Aneurysm," St. Vincent lead on "Lithium" and Lorde join in on "All Apologies," the Nirvana three-some headed to the intimate Saint Vitus Bar in Greenpoint for a surprise 19-song set filled with guests.

The invitation-only affair saw Grohl, Smear and Novoselic joined by Jett, J Mascis of Dinosaur Jr., St. Vincent, John McCauley of Deer Tick and Kim Gordon for a set of Nirvana tunes. Here's a look at the setlist from Saint Vitus:
