Neil Young & John McEnroe Guest On Chrissie Hynde’s Stockholm

After 30+ years fronting The Pretenders and following 25 million records sold, Chrissie Hynde will finally release an album under her own name. Hynde’s Stockholm is due on June 10 in the U.S. via Caroline Records and includes cameos from Neil Young, John McEnroe and Joakim Ahlund of the Caesars.

In a press release announcing the 11-track release, Hynde said “It’s the first album with my name on it, but it’s not a solo album. In fact, making this album was more of a collaboration than any Pretenders album ever was.” Chrissie recorded the album in Stockholm with co-writer/guitarist Bjorn Yttling of Peter, Bjorn and John at the helm.
