Outkast is gearing up for a huge year as the Atlanta-based hip-hop duo has reunited to play
a series of over 40 festival appearances worldwide. We expect to hear a new round of
Outkast covers from many acts, but we weren't expecting one of those bands to be Portland,
OR's Fruition.
The roots/Americana act has shared a video containing their take on Outkast's debut single,
"Player's Ball." Fruition has covered "Player's Ball" to reward the pledge of a fan who
kicked in towards their Kickstarter campaign. We were hesitant
to push play on the video, but the band did a fantastic job with the tune. Take a look and
