Happy 71st Birthday Keith Richards | Making Of Sympathy

Today marks Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards’s 71st birthday. Keef and his Glimmer Twins collaborator Mick Jagger are responsible for writing many of rock’s most beloved songs. There were many times it didn’t appear the guitarist would make it to 40, let alone 71, so today is certainly a day worth celebrating. 
In honor or Keith’s birthday, we wanted to share French director Jean-Luc Godard’s footage of the Stones recording “Sympathy For The Devil” in 1968. This clip brings us inside the band’s creative process as they were putting together one of those “most beloved songs” we mentioned earlier. Check it out:
