Paul McCartney made
his first visit to NBC's Late Night With Jimmy Fallon one to remember in 2010, when
he shared a few private stories (including one about being held up at knifepoint in Nigeria)
and performed a parody of "Yesterday" called "Scrambled Eggs" that was so good Fallon
included it on his comedy album. McCartney and Fallon will team up once again a week from
today, on October 7, when Paul visits Late Night in support of his New album.
Fallon also scored a visit from another JamBase favorite next week as My Morning Jacket will
perform on the October 11th episode with Alabama Shakes front woman Brittany Howard
and tUnE-yArDs mastermind Merrill Garbus. We'd imagine they'll perform “Trouble Sleep
Yanga Wake Am” off the soon-to-be-released Red, Hot & Fela compilation.
