MONTBLEAU GUESTS WITH TLG ON TWO SONGS IN CAMBRIDGE

visited The Sinclair in Cambridge, MA last Friday night in support of their new album
In The Wake. In addition to performing much of the album, they welcomed old friend
Ryan Montbleau for a two-song guest spot.
Montbleau emerged in the middle of the show to lead the band through a cover of Tom Waits'
"Step Right Up." While the singer needed a lyric sheet to help him with the oodles of
lyrics involved in the Waits classic from Tom's 1976 album Small Change, Montbleau
ably delivered the tongue-twisting words as Tea Leaf Green backed him up. Ryan stuck
around to duet with Trevor Garrod on the In The Wake single "Give Me One More
Chance."
TLG ended their main set by mixing the old and the new as they worked In The Wake
track "Space Hero Pt. 4 (Letters Home)" in the middle of live staple "Sex In The '70s."
