NEW GARCIALIVE DETAILS DISCOVERED
SHOW FEATURES BELA FLECK AS A GUEST FROM 1990

Hidden Track has the scoop that the second volume of “GarciaLive” is the Jerry Garcia Band show from August 5th, 1990 at The Greek Theater in Berkeley. Bela Fleck and the Flecktones opened the show and Bela sticks around on banjo to play on covers of “Midnight Moonlight” and “The Harder They Come.”

This is not the only time Bela Fleck and Jerry Garcia crossed-paths, there was also the Squaw Valley Summer Music Festival in 1991 where Fleck joined Garcia and David Grisman for the encore of Eat My Dust and Ripple. Video circulates of this performance and it is embedded below.

Amazon has a release date for GarciaLive Volume Two of June 25, 2013.

Update: The Jerry Garcia online store is also accepting pre-orders here.
